Reelmint AI (“Reelmint”, “we”, “us”) is a personal software tool that helps a creator generate short‑form videos and publish them to that creator's own connected social media accounts (YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok). This policy explains what data Reelmint accesses, how it is used, and the choices you have.

Who this applies to

Reelmint is operated by an individual creator to post to their own accounts. It is not a public service that collects data from third parties or other social‑media users.

Information we access

Account authorization (OAuth). When you connect a YouTube, Instagram, or TikTok account, that platform issues Reelmint an access token so it can upload and publish videos on your behalf. You explicitly grant this, and you can revoke it at any time (see below).
Basic account details. Such as your channel or account name and identifier, used only to show which account is connected.
Content you create. The video files, titles, descriptions, and hashtags that Reelmint generates at your direction and uploads to your connected accounts.

Reelmint does not collect passwords, and does not access, store, or process the personal data of any other users of these platforms.

How we use it

To authenticate with the platform APIs and upload/publish videos to your own connected accounts, according to the schedule you configure.
To display connection status (which accounts are linked) within the tool.

We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell or rent it to anyone.

Where your data is stored

Access tokens and settings are stored locally on the operator's own computer that runs Reelmint. Video files are uploaded directly to the platforms you connected. We do not operate a central server that aggregates user data.

Sharing & third‑party services

To function, Reelmint sends your content and requests to the platforms you choose to connect and to the services used to generate videos. Their handling of data is governed by their own policies:

YouTube / Google — Google Privacy Policy (Reelmint's use of YouTube API Services is also subject to the YouTube Terms of Service).
Instagram / Meta — Meta Privacy Policy.
TikTok — TikTok Privacy Policy.

Your choices & data deletion

Disconnect at any time inside Reelmint, which removes the stored token for that platform.
Revoke access directly with the platform: Google Account → Security → Third‑party access; Instagram/Facebook → Settings → Apps and Websites; TikTok → Settings → Security & permissions → Manage app permissions.
Delete local data by removing Reelmint's local data folder on the operator's computer.

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect stored tokens and limit access to them. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and you use the tool at your own discretion.

Children

Reelmint is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required by the platforms), and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
